🚀 This Week’s Walmart Hack: Take Advantage of New-Seller Savings Program in 2026!
While many of this newsletter’s readers are already selling their products on Walmart Marketplace, I know that there are still plenty of you out there that still haven’t taken the plunge yet.
And I understand! Expanding your e-commerce presence into a new market is a big undertaking. But I feel so strongly about the current trajectory and long-term potential in Walmart that I’ve tried to do my part with this newsletter to highlight all of the reasons you should get on board. I’ve discussed Walmart Marketplace’s impressive traffic and sales numbers, brand trustworthiness, seller-friendly policies and much more.
For those of you still on the fence? Walmart is giving you up to 75,000 more reasons to launch your new storefront this year!
The 2026 New-Seller Savings program will give sellers who begin selling on Walmart this year the opportunity to unlock up to $75,000 in total savings to help offset some of the initial expenses involved with getting started. Here’s how it breaks down:
Up to $72,000 off referral fees on Walmart Marketplace – Get 20% off base referral fees for you first $50,000 in GMV, 30% off base referral fees for between $50K and $500K in GMV, and 40% off base referral fees over $500K in GMV until you’ve reached $72K in savings.
Up to $2,000 in Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) credits – Get 10% off on items shipped with WFS until you’ve reached $2K in savings.
Up to $1,000 in Search Engine Marketing reimbursement credits – Get up to $1,000 in advertising reimbursement credits after eligible ad spend on Search Engine Marketing.
Up to $500 in Walmart Connect ad credits – Get up to $500 in advertising credits upon enrolling with Walmart Connect.
Adding in those Walmart Connect credits, new sellers can actually receive up to $75,500 in New-Seller Savings program rewards. Sure, “$75K” looks cleaner in ads and copy, but I’m not one to ignore an extra $500 up for grabs!
This program is yet another demonstration of how Walmart Marketplace looks out for its sellers. Investing in a new marketplace costs time and money, and these reduced fees go a long way in giving you extra flexibility to experiment and find out what products and logistics work best for you on this exciting new platform.

And speaking of looking out for sellers, how does 24/7 real-time support sound?
Around-the-clock assistance used to be a luxury that only the biggest and most well-established brands in e-commerce had access to. While a legacy brand might have had a dedicated account manager it could reach out to 24/7, smaller businesses were stuck filling out support tickets during off hours or queuing up waiting for a representative to become available.
Walmart’s AI-powered Smart Assistant has bridged that gap. Have an operational question? Need help optimising one of your listings? Ask anytime, and you’ll quickly get an answer.
If you aren’t a fan of AI, don’t fret– Walmart Marketplace still has a very friendly and helpful human customer service team available to address your questions and concerns.
But for all of those times you need a quick answer on something, instead of waiting for a representative or browsing through FAQ pages and forum posts looking for an answer, you can let your Smart Assistant do the work for you!
